2.1.2 Information you choose to give us. You may choose to provide us with additional personal information, in order to obtain a better user experience when you use the LikeyourBed Platform. This additional information will be processed on the basis of our legitimate interest or, where applicable, your consent. Additional profile information. You may choose to provide additional information as part of your LikeyourBed profile (such as gender, preferred language(s), city and a personal description). Some of this information, as indicated in your Account settings, is part of your public profile page and will be visible to others. Address book information. You can choose to import the contacts from your address book or manually fill in the information of your contacts in order to access certain features of the LikeyourBed Platform, such as inviting them to use LikeyourBed for example. Other information. Alternatively, you may choose to provide us with information when you fill out a form, update or add information to your LikeyourBed Account, respond to surveys, post on discussion forums, participate in promotional events, or use other features of the LikeyourBed Platform.
2.1.3 Information necessary for the use of the Payment Services. The Payment Processor, likeyourBed, must collect the following information, which is necessary for the proper performance of the agreement between you and us and to comply with applicable law (such as anti-money laundering regulations). Without them, you will not be able to use the Payment Services: Payment information. Payment information. When you use the Payment Services, the Payment Processor requires certain financial information (such as your bank account or credit card information) in order to process payments and comply with applicable law. Identity verification and other information. If you are a Host, the Payment Processor may require identity verification information (such as copies of your official ID, passport, national ID card or driver's license) or other authentication information, such as your date of birth, address, email address, phone number and other information, to verify your identity, provide you with Payment Services and comply with applicable law.
2.1.4 Information we collect automatically when you use the LikeyourBed Platform and Payment Services. When you use the LikeyourBed Platform and payment Services, we automatically collect personal information about the services you use and how you use them. This information is necessary for the proper performance of the agreement between you and us, for us to comply with legal obligations and taking into account our legitimate interest in being able to provide and improve the functionality of the LikeyourBed Platform and Payment Services. Cookies and similar technologies. We may use cookies and other similar technologies when you use our platform. They can be generated by third-party services such as by our host https://www.ovh.com/ Information about payment transactions. LikeyourBed collects information about your payment transactions on the LikeyourBed Platform, including the payment method used, date and time, payment amount, payment method expiration date, billing zip code, email address PayPal, IBAN information, address, and other related transaction information. This information is necessary for the proper performance of the agreement between you and us and to enable us to make the Payment Services available.
2.1.5 Information we collect from third parties. LikeyourBed may collect information, including personal information, provided by third parties about you when using the LikeyourBed Platform and Payment Services, or obtain information from other sources and combine it with information we collect on the LikeyourBed Platform and payment Services. We do not control, supervise or respond to how third parties providing your information process your personal data. In addition, any request for information regarding the disclosure of your personal information to our company should be addressed to such third parties. Third Party Services. If you link, associate or connect your LikeyourBed Account to a Service provided by a third party (e.g. Google, Facebook), the service provided by the third party may send us information, such as information relating to your registration, your friends list and your profile of the service in question. This information varies and is controlled by the respective service or depends on the permissions you have transmitted to that service through the privacy settings. Your comments. If someone has written a comment about you, it will be published on your Likeyourbed public profile page with your consent.
3 HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may use, store and process personal data to (1) populate, understand, improve and develop the Likeyourbed Platform, (2) create and maintain a trusting and more secure environment (including to comply with our legal obligations and ensure compliance with Likeyourbed's Policies) and (3) deliver, personalize, analyze and improve our advertising and the marketing of our services.
3.1 Feed, improve and develop the Likeyourbed Platform. We may use personal data to populate, improve and develop the Likeyourbed Platform, in particular to: allow you to access and use the Likeyourbed Platform; allow you to communicate with other Members; manage, protect, improve and optimize the Platform and the Likeyourbed experience, for example by carrying out analyses and studies;
3.2 Use by the Payment Processor of the information collected. We may use personal data in connection with the Payment Services, in particular to: allow you to access and use the Payment Services; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents and other harmful activities; conduct security investigations and risk assessments; carry out checks by comparison with databases or other sources of information; comply with legal obligations (such as anti-money laundering regulations); enforce the Payment Terms and other payment policies; with your consent, send you promotional messages, commercial, advertising and other information that may be of interest to you, depending on your preferences.
The Payment Processor processes such personal data for the purposes listed in this section given its legitimate interest in improving the Payment Services and its users' experience with these services, if such information is necessary for the proper performance of the agreement with you and to comply with applicable laws.
4 Sharing between Members.
